Getting a prenup was a lonely experience. No one I knew had gone through the process and when I brought it up with my partner, we argued - not because we disagreed, but because we didn’t know where to start.
Working through it turned out to be one of the most valuable things we’ve done as a couple. It forced us to really talk about money, fairness, and the future we were building. What started as a legal formality became a moment of alignment and radical transparency.
